Miguel Arsénio Story
From the tender age of 5, sports have been an integral part of his life. Like other children, he began his journey with football. At the age of 10, a shift occurred as he transitioned to mountain biking (MTB).
For the ensuing decade, he dedicated himself wholeheartedly to MTB. Finally, his commitment bore fruit, propelling him to the pinnacle as he clinched multiple national and regional championships across various classes. Additionally, he proudly represented his nation as a member of the national team, further solidifying his status as a formidable athlete.
Arsénio, considered the best Portuguese trail runner at the moment, started his running career in 2019, at the age of
23. However, it was in 2023 that he truly made his mark on the international stage.
Up to now, in 2024, within only about 5 years, he has got 916 ITRA points, securing the 18th position among trail runners worldwide. Such remarkable progress underscores his exceptional potential and highlights the bright future that lies ahead for this rising star.
