History of FUGA

In 2013, Kailas found an increasing need for trail running shoes that can tackle mixed terrain and offer a custom fit. Thus, we started to design our first trail running shoes. Over the past years, our design team had been working continuously to improve our shoes. And finally we launched our first Fuga shoes in 2016.

In the past years, Kailas has exerted constant effort on the R&D of trail running shoes and there are now various product lines of Fuga, including Pro, EX, BOA, ATHLETE, FLYTHORN, PHANTOM and so on. Different series have their most suitable terrains.

1. Lacing Technologies

The buckle on lace provides stronger wrapping and stability, avoiding foot from slipping forward when running downhill, therefore, to prevent toe injuries.

2. 4-point Gaiter Holder System

In trail running, it is inevitable items such as rocks, dust and debris entering the shoes, which can lead to blistering and is time-wasting to clean them out.

Kailas patented 4-point gaiter holder can fix the sandproof gaiter on the shoe firmly and gives a snug fit, preventing debris from entering the shoe.

3. Vibram Megagrip Outsole

Vibram Megagrip Outsole, marked with a red hexagon, offers excellent grip on both slippery and wet terrains.

It offers an incomparable combination of grip and durability, ideal for trail running.
