Great looking shoe with a grippy Vibram sole. It’s a bit hard to get my foot into it ( needs a shoe horn) and the laces could be a bit thicker. The lower dual lacing lug seems to be almost fixed and is not of much use. However, once the shoe is on it is very comfortable and the build quality is excellent.
The EX3 is quickly becoming my favorite trail shoe. It has great traction, but it isn't so much that you can't do a few road miles to get to the trail. I normally wear a US size 12, and the 46.5 fits perfect. I have a narrower/low volume foot, and the fit/lockdown is perfect. It also runs below its weight, and I can drop the pace without the shoe feeling bulky or heavy. I wish Kailas offered more models (and colors of the EX3) in my size.

I have wide feet so I was worried but it fits great and feels like I can run in these for a while!
I used the same pair of Kailas FUGA EX3 for UTMB, Tor des Geants, and The Bear. That was ~450+ Miles in the same month. Literally, I feel nearly no difference for my EX3 in all three races. The sole materials are extremely robust for highly technical terrain.
