Bought Kailas Mountain Wonder-GTX & merino socks last Dec.
Wore them during my April Tibet trip.
The shoes provided reasonably cushioning with good grip on unpaved and snowy surfaces.
The merino socks were comfortable and remained odor-free even after a full day of walking and after wearing them in hot weather during local hikes.
1 thing have to take note that the part of the shoe near top shoe eyelet will rub against your foot, but can easily resolve by wearing a pair off mid cut socks.
Overall, still recommended if you are looking for a waterproof shoe with good grip.
