- The KAILAS Kneepad is specially designed for outdoor rock climbing. It is a specialised protective gear used to increase friction or facilitate kneebar movements. The kneepad consists of a layer of wear-resistant rubber bonded to an elastic fabric, secured around the thigh (above the knee) with elastic band closures on both sides of the rubber, creating a double elastic compression fixation and wrapping effect. With dual-layer fixation, users can freely adjust tightness while also distributing pressure points on the thigh for even force distribution. During climbing, it increases friction between the leg and rock holds, reduces pain, helps with the kneebar technique, and improves athletic performance.
