On August 31, 2019, KAILAS athlete Scotty Hawker won the third place in UTMB, the world's largest, most prestigious ultra trail run. At the end of the race, he ran across the finish line hand in hand with his 3-year-old daughter.

In an interview after the race, Scotty mentioned that he ran in the FUGA PRO since December last year. He said, “This pair of shoes is amazing. It maintains the same grip property and other properties as hiking shoes but it is 30% lighter.”
